ZeroApps builds native macOS utilities designed to process supported files and tasks locally on your Mac. This policy explains the information handled by the apps and the ZeroApps website.

1. App processing

ZeroApps apps are designed to process supported files locally on your Mac. We do not operate a cloud service that receives your document, image or file contents for the app features described on our product pages.

The apps do not require a ZeroApps account for normal use. A license key or local activation record may be stored on your Mac to unlock paid features.

2. Information collected by the website

When you visit the website, contact support, request a license link or make a purchase, we may process:

• Contact information, such as your email address and name.
• Order information, including product, amount, currency, order status and transaction identifier.
• License information, including product entitlement, activation status, device name or pseudonymous device identifier.
• Support communications you send to us.
• Website information, such as pages viewed, referring page, browser, device type, approximate country, campaign parameters and advertising click references.
• Website events, such as product views, download clicks, checkout starts and completed purchases.

We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

3. Analytics and advertising measurement

With your consent where required, the website may use analytics and advertising technologies from Google and Microsoft. These technologies help us understand website traffic, measure whether an ad led to a purchase and improve campaign relevance.

Advertising measurement data may include campaign parameters, advertising click references, browser or device information, event timestamps, purchase value, currency, product identifier and normalised or hashed contact information where supported and legally permitted.

We may send the same purchase event from the browser and our server. A shared event identifier is used to prevent the same purchase being counted twice.

These providers apply their own privacy terms to information they process. Advertising platforms do not receive the contents of files processed inside ZeroApps apps.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Necessary technologies support security, checkout, license management and your privacy choices.

Optional analytics and advertising technologies are used only according to your choices and applicable law. You can accept, reject or change optional settings through the Cookie settings link in the website footer.

5. Service providers

We use service providers including:

• Stripe — checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention and payment receipts.
• Resend — transactional emails such as license delivery and secure sign-in links.
• Supabase / our database provider — customer, order and license records.
• Google — website analytics and advertising measurement.
• Microsoft — ChatGPT Ads and Microsoft Advertising measurement.
• Our website hosting and security providers.

These providers process information under their own terms and our applicable agreements with them.

6. Why we process information

We process information to:

• Provide downloads, purchases, licenses and support.
• Maintain security and prevent fraud.
• Meet tax, accounting and legal obligations.
• Understand and improve the website.
• Measure advertising when you have provided any consent required by law.

7. Data retention

We keep order, tax and license records for the period required to provide your license and meet legal, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution obligations. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to our configured provider settings and your privacy choices.

8. Your choices and rights

You can change optional cookie settings at any time through the website footer. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of certain personal information.

9. International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards are used.
